Joining the IPS is a proud moment for any person. It brings great responsibility. Shefeen was allotted to the Odisha cadre. This meant he would spend most of his career serving in the state of Odisha. He packed his bags and moved to Odisha to begin his official journey.

Initial Career and Training in Odisha

Shefeen started his initial police training in the Sundargarh district of Odisha. The early days of a police officer are filled with hard physical training and learning local laws. He learned how to talk to villagers, handle law and order, and solve crimes.

From the very beginning, Shefeen showed great honesty and discipline. He treated everyone with respect. Whether a rich person came to him or a poor farmer came to him, he listened to their problems carefully. Local people respected him because he was soft-spoken yet very strong against bad elements in society.

Master of Cybercrime Investigation

As technology grew in India, online fraud and cybercrimes increased rapidly. Many innocent people lose their hard-earned money to internet scams. Shefeen recognized this danger early. He became an expert in cybercrime investigation.
